On 1st October 2025, the Naming and Blessing Ceremony of the two school buildings was held. The Main building was renamed as St. Carlo Acutis Block and the Commerce building was renamed as St. Pier Frassati Block. Along with this the inauguration of new classrooms and new washrooms took place.
The Quarterly Periodical School Magazine entitled ‘Youth Synergy’ – a Synergical Periodical was released.

Our Principal Ms. Victoria De Souza was felicitated as our school was awarded the CFORE Award. St.Xavier’s Higher Secondary was ranked 8th among all Schools and Higher Secondary’s in India and first in Goa. The ceremony took place in September in Delhi.

The General Body Meeting of P.T.A was held on 3rd August 2025. The Chief Guest for the function was Fr. Henry Falcao’ and the Guest Speaker was Mr. Sandesh Prabhudesai. The meeting revolved around the theme ‘Nurturing Young minds, Building Bright Futures’.

The felicitation of the meritorious students and PTA General Body Meeting was held on 3rd August 2024 at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Mapusa in the Ark hall. The event commenced with registration, followed by a Prayer Service centered around the theme for the Golden Jubilee Year, “Sharing with Gratitude the Good news by empowering young minds”. Thereafter a graceful dance performance was put up by the students. Fr Agnelo Fernandes,Vice-Principal of the General Stream, welcomed the gathering and emphasized the Institutions unwavering commitment to education and the well-being of the students. The Guest Speaker, Fr Onasis D’Cruz, highlighted the importance of parenting in the 21st century. His insights provided valuable guidance to parents on navigating the complexities of modern day parenting. Fr Pedro Da Gama, the School Manager, addressed the gathering followed by the Address of the Principal, Ms Victoria De Souza, who highlighted the future endeavours of the Institution and requested the support and commitment of the parents in the shared goals for the students and the Institution.
The meritorious students were felicitated by Adv Caroline Collasso, who addressed several pressing concern like vices affecting students, surge in divorce rates and ways to navigate these concerns. Ms. Christine Almeida, Secretary of the PTA read the Minutes of the previous PTA meeting. Ms. Belinda Velho, Assistant Tresurer of PTA, presented the Report of Activities conducted during the year 2023-2024 and Mr.Roger Ferrao, Treasurer of PTA, read out the Statement of Accounts. The projects in the pipeline for the Institution were highlighted by the PTA member. Mr. Anthony D’Souza. The Principal, Vice-Principals and the Manager then felicitated the outgoing PTA members expressing hope for their continued support in setting a higher benchmark for St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School. Ms. Mitchelle Coelho, Assistant Secretary proposed the Vote of Thanks. The meeting concluded with the singing of the School Anthem.
