National Cadet Corps
Cadet Captain Amrut Sonar of NCC Naval Wing, St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Mapusa Goa attended the prestigious ALL INDIA YATCHING RAGATTA 2025 held at INS CHILKA Odisha
He was the only cadet from Goa to represent Karnataka and Goa Directorate at AIYR 2025
He attended the following camps
Phase I - 10th Aug - 19th Aug
Phase II - 20th Aug - 29th Aug
Phase III - 30th Aug - 7th Sep
AIYR - 8th Sep - 15th Sep
For Girls and Boys - ” Their motto is “Unity and Self Discipline”.
Our H.S.S has a Naval NCC Unit for girls and boys under which various activities are conducted which help to mould the cadets into upright, humane, disciplined, mentally and physically strong persons. NCC has widened it's focus from para-military training to community service also. It is a plus point for those desirous of joining the NDA or the Armed Forces. NCC has shifted its earlier focus on para-military training to community service also. It is a plus point for those desirous of joining NDA. Our student Mr. Narendra Parab was awarded the Best Camp Senior for CATC-II/TSC-1, Belgaum & Best Cadet of Goa Battalion NCC (Army Wing) 2014-15.
