The Installation Ceremony of the Students' Council along with the Social Wing viz., the YRC/ NCC and the Eco Club was held on 23 June 2023 in St. Xavier's Ark Hall at 9:30a.m. Mr. Romauldo Rebello,a former teacher in Mathematics who is teaching at Sunshine High School , Tucson, Arizona ( US) was the Chief Guest.The ceremony began with a prayer service followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. The Vice principal, Rev. Fr. Agnelo Fernandes addressed the gathering. The Principal, Mrs. Victoria de Souza announced the council members & the Chief Guest, Mr. Rebello, decorated the office bearers and administered the oath to the Council. Likewise, the Principal, Vice Principal and the Teacher programme Officer, Ms. Nirmala Barretto administered oaths/ pledge to the NSS, YRC and the Eco Club members. In his address to the young leaders, Mr. Rebello motivated the students thorough his words of wisdom. The ceremony ended with the proposing of vote of thanks by the Convenor of NSS/ YRC/ Eco Club, Ms.Helosia Alphonso followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the School Anthem. The ceremony ended at 11:00 am.
