The NSS/YRC Units & Eco Club along with The Student -Teacher Welfare Committee organised the Installation of the Social Wings & the Investiture Ceremony of the Students' Council on 9th July 2024 at 10:00a.m. Mrs. Anseca Pinto, a former Accountancy Teacher was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Principal, Mrs. Victoria D’Souza addressed the gathering and advised the elected representatives to not work for ‘tags’ but be a ‘servant leader. She drew analogy to the life of Christ and asked students not to demand respect but command and serve with humility. She reminded the students to reach out and touch the lives of people and urged them to lead a life of good values. The Chief Guest in her address informed the students the role of leadership. she said that being a leader is a loaded work, leaders are looked up by the society, the position makes a person lonely and gives them the ability to learn. She reminded the Auxiliary Bishop’s words and asked the elected leaders, ‘to serve rather than to be served’. She also reminded students to continue to learn and improve themselves as they take upon themselves the role of leadership.
