A Training Programme on Drone Technology was conducted at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Mapusa, on Tuesday, 28th April 2026 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm; by the Goa State Council of Science and Technology with resource persons from GIRNAAR FACTORY BUSINESS PVT. LTD., Pune as part of the Skill Development Programme for the students of our school.
The lead trainer, Mr Prathamesh Joshi has over 10 years of experience in the field of Industrial Factory Automation and System Integration Projects for advanced technologies like IOT, Robotics, 3D Printing, Drone Technology, AI & Machine Learning, Python etc.
The session was divided into two parts, the first of which was indoors where students were briefed about the basics of drone technology, post which they were taken to the Basketball Court for a demonstration of live Drone Flying with real time application wherein one application featured the unfurling of the flag while the second application featured another drone that was used to water crops.
The session was very informative and well received by the students who participated in the programme with enthusiasm.
