The Atal Community Day was held on the 17th of April, 2026 in the ATAL Tinkering Lab of St. Xavier’s HSS Mapusa. The day was attended by students from PM Shri Government high school, Namoshi-Guirim, St. Mary’s high school, Mapusa and St. Britto’s high school, Mapusa.
After a warm welcome by the compere of the day, Ms. Riones Fernandes, the students were taken on a tour of all the laboratories and library of the school. The teachers interacted and displayed various experiments to ignite their curiosity and interests. This was followed by fun activities in the ATL lab like puzzles, quizzes and games in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology, which kept the students entertained and lively.
Our Principal, Ms. Victoria De Souza addressed the students and gave away the prizes to the winners, along with our Vice Principal, Fr. Agnelo Fernandes.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Roger Ferrao and a group photograph of the students and the Workshop and ATL committee members with the Principal and Vice Principal. The students then proceeded home with a day well spent.
