Under Eco clubs for Mission LiFE, the Eco Club of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School organized a Millet Dish Making Competition in the Biology Laboratory on 26th June 2026. The event aimed to create awareness about the nutritional value of millets and encourage students to explore healthy and innovative cooking.
Each class was represented by one participant, who creatively prepared and presented a variety of delicious millet-based dishes. A total of 34 participants enthusiastically showcased their culinary skills, impressing everyone with their creativity, presentation, and use of nutritious ingredients.
The entries were evaluated by a panel of three judges, who assessed the dishes based on taste, presentation, creativity, and nutritional value. With so many exceptional entries, selecting the winners proved to be a challenging task.
The competition was conducted successfully in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. It inspired students to appreciate the importance of millets as a healthy food choice while fostering creativity and confidence. Overall, the Millet Dish Making Competition was a grand success and was well appreciated by both participants and judges.
