The Diocesan Society of Education in collaboration with Diocesan Cathecatical centre (DCC) organized a Street Play and Reel making Competition on 16th August 2025 on the Theme of the Jubilee Year "HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT US" at St Pius X complex, Old Goa. The aim of the competition was to create awareness about social issues and encourage students to express themselves creatively.
The street play performance was filled with powerful dialogues, slogans, and impactful acting that captivated the audience. The reels submitted by students from various Higher secondary schools were played on the screen for the audience. Fr. Marcelin Rodrigues, Director of the DCC praised all the groups for their performances. The event was not only entertaining but also thought-provoking and inspiring for everyone present there. Finally, the Competition ended with vote of thanks. The prizes were declared and all the participants were given participation certificates. The students were under the guidance of Ms Juvella and Sr Cipriano.
