STELLAR SHOWTIME at St. Xavier's HSS
On 15th January 2026, St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School, Mapusa, hosted a captivating Sky Observation event from 7:15pm-9:00pm. Organised by the ATL committee in collaboration with Association of Friends of Astronomy, Panjim. The event drew 50 participants, including 26 students, 18 parents, and 6 teachers.
Mr. Satish Nayak, President of Association of Friends of Astronomy, delivered an engaging talk on space, followed by a thrilling sky observation session. He was ably assisted by Mast. Rahul Jadhav, Mast. Stephen Rego, and Mast. Daivik Nagvekar.
Participants got a glimpse of Saturn and Jupiter, along with 4 moons of Jupiter, through telescope. The event was a great learning experience for all!
