On 13th September 2025, the Skill Workshop Committee of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Mapusa, hosted a session by the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), Nuvem, on the topic, “Career Scope in Hospitality”. The session was conducted by Ms. Pooja Rawat, Senior Marketing Executive, and Mr. Sujay Gupta, Pan-India Director of Marketing and Communications, along with two first-year students. The speakers explained the four core departments of hospitality, career opportunities, educational pathways, internships, placements, and managerial roles, while also clearing myths about the industry. The student speakers shared their experiences at IIHM, and the seminar concluded with an address by Mr. Gupta, who emphasized the scope, diversity, and practicality of hospitality careers.
The session was attended by the students of Class XI Arts.
