Talk on Prevention of Food Adulteration

An interactive awareness session on the prevention of food adulteration was conducted on 23rd March 2026 as part of a campaign initiated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The session aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of food adulteration on health.

The talk was delivered by Ms. Vrunda Naik, a postgraduate student of Food Technology from Carmel College, Nuvem, and was attended by the students of Class XI Arts A.

The session was both engaging and informative, featuring an insightful presentation along with practical demonstrations. Students were made aware of the adverse effects of consuming adulterated food and were introduced to simple methods for detecting common adulterants in everyday food items.
