The NSS/YRC/ECO Club of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Mapusa organised a special visit to Mae De Deus Home for the Aged, Saligao on 16th December, 2025, with the aim of sharing the joy of Christmas with the elderly.
Committee members, along with Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Agnelo Fernandes and 17 students, took part in the visit. The programme began with a prayer, followed by a brief cultural program that included carol singing, a game, and a comedy act. This was followed by serving of refreshments.
Students and staff spent quality time interacting with the 37 residents, bringing smiles and warmth to their faces. The visit proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, reinforcing values of kindness, sharing, and social responsibility.
