ATL Workshop ‘Blinking an LED using Arduino’

ATL inaugural ceremony conducted on 30th June 2025 at St. Xavier’s H.S.S. was followed by a workshop on ‘Blinking an LED using Arduino’. 100 students and 4 ATL teacher members attended the talk given by the resource person Mr. Shiva Krishna J. who is also innovation ambassador for the institution.

The session aimed to introduce participants to the basics of Arduino programming and hands-on experience with LED blinking project.

Mr. Shiva Krishna through his systematic PowerPoint presentation introduced Arduino board to the students and spoke about its applications. He then moved to the Arduino coding wherein the steps involved in coding were shown in detail. His insightful explanation helped students to begin with coding.

Later connection of LED to the Arduino board and how to make it blink by uploading code on Arduino was explained.

The talk was followed by hands on Experience where many students actively participated. Mr. Shiva Krishna and ATL Convenor Mr. Vikrant Dhulaji  showed students to do connections and upload the code. The Participants appreciated the hands-on experience and guidance given on troubleshooting and debugging. Many students expressed interest in learning more about Arduino and its application.

The workshop was successful in introducing participants to the basics of Arduino and LED blinking project. The hands-on experience and guidance provided a solid foundation for further learning.
