Topic for the occasion: Classroom discussion related to the local tribal community - The “Kunbis”.
A presentation was organized for the students of Arts on the topic of local tribal community the Kunbi. The session highlighted their rich heritage, food, diversity, values and tradition it also featured photographs showcasing the community’s and their way of livelihood.
The session was conducted by Mr. Jason Dsouza who spoke briefly on the above-mentioned topic explaining the importance of the tribal community and how it created value along with the significance of the same towards modern times and how tradition is passed on from generation to generation. The session concluded with an interactive session, during which students engaged in a lively discussion, asked questions, and explored examples of other tribal communities and the important roles they play in society.
