Topic for the occasion: Raise awareness among the students about the importance of sustaining and improving the environment.
The event began with welcoming of the Guest for the event: Mr. Joshua De Souza Hon'ble Dy. Speaker, Goa Legislative Assembly and MLA of Mapusa Constituency and the Principal: Ms. Victoria De Souza by the respected teacher followed by planting a sapling in the campus grounds at the hands of the chief guest.
The chief guest for the day spoke on the needs and importances of planting trees for the future generation and for the sustainability of the human race as they provide vital needs towards the growth and development of our ecosystem.
Conclusion: To summarize, the event was a success with students partaking in panting fruit bearing trees and understanding the importance and significance they play in our daily lives.
