The Department of Mass Communication of St. Xavier’s College organised a workshop on ‘Vlogging: Crafting Your Digital Voice’ on 22nd August 2025 from 12:15 to 2:00 p.m. for the students of Std XII Vocational in the College Section. The students of Accountancy & Auditing, Banking and Insurance and Bakery and Confectionery attended the workshop. The Resource Person was Mr Lizvan Rodrigues, Assistant Professor, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism. Mr. Lizvan with his expertise briefed the students on the 3 steps in filming a vlog,

He made students aware on the different types of vlogs by playing a no. of videos and taught them the techniques of preparing vlogs that would attract the attention of viewers and keep them hooked till the end. The students were also engaged in a group activity to shoot and prepare a vlog in the college campus.
Mr Anzil Associate Professor, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism also enlightened the students on the various on the campus courses in Mass Communication and the different activities taken up by the Department. The workshop was insightful, engaging and informative.
